For a safe, even, and optimal burn of your MONOKèRI scented candle, please follow these candle care and safety instructions.

Trim the wooden wick to approximately 5 mm (0.5 cm).
Before each use, remove the blackened and charred portion of the wooden wick. Keeping the wick at the correct length helps maintain a steady flame while reducing smoke and preventing an excessively large flame.

Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Keep it away from curtains, paper, fabrics, and other flammable materials.

Avoid drafts.
Do not place a burning candle near an open window, fan, or air conditioner. Drafts can cause the flame to become unstable and may result in uneven burning.

Maximum Continuous Burn Time: 3–4 Hours

The first burn plays an important role in ensuring your candle burns evenly.

Allow your candle to burn for approximately 2-3 hoursso that the melted wax spreads as evenly as possible towards the edges of the container.

This helps prevent tunneling, a phenomenon in which the candle burns primarily down the center, leaving unused wax around the edges.

Maximum Continuous Burn Time: 3–4 Hours

Do not leave your candle burning for more than 3–4 consecutive hours.

After each burn, extinguish the flame and allow both the wax and the container to cool completely before relighting.

If the flame becomes excessively large, flickers intensely, or produces noticeable smoke, extinguish the candle immediately. Allow it to cool completely and trim the wooden wick back to approximately 5 mm before the next use. 5 mm.
